Learning Innovations – Inclusive Learning Technologies

Hosted by the Calgary Board of Education’s Learning Innovations department, this online resource does not just focus on Universal Design for Learning, but shows how Inclusive and Assistive technologies can be used in conjunction with strong UDL principles. This online resource represents more than just one website, as there are multiple informative links to research documents, lists of links for further reading and research, and showcases that highlight current work being done in CBE schools. Furthermore, this is a comprehensive toolkit for any teacher in the CBE, as this site presents specific information around projects available to teachers within the CBE – including available software, hardware and handheld toolkits that teachers and specialists have access to. Because this is not a password-protected site, any interested educator can peruse the online resources and digital materials available.
